Whether you live in the Tri-City or the surrounding area or just came here for a moment, it's worth knowing where you can go for an evening show, experience an amazing spiritual adventure and feel the breath of culture. Today we present selected Tri-City theaters.

The Wybrzeże Theater (Gdańsk)

It is one of the most famous and respected theaters in Pomerania and throughout Poland. Although it is over 200 years old, it is open to novelties, innovations in culture and art, and is considered a very modern theatre. Many famous people have been here, including Andrzej Wajda, Zbigniew Cybulski, Kalina Jędrusik. In addition to Polish classics, foreign-language theater classics are often presented.

The Musical Theater of Danuta Baduszkowa (Gdynia)

It has been operating since 1958 and is one of the most important cultural institutions in the region. We can watch musicals, operettas, musical, ballet and cabaret performances, fairy tales, concerts and chamber performances. Over the years, it has been expanded and is now the largest musical theater in the country, while having the most modern acoustic, lighting and audiovisual equipment. It is difficult to list all the titles of the plays staged here, but the most famous are: Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof, Ecita, Hair, Chicago, Lalka, Shrek, The Witcher.

City Theater Witold Gombrowicz (Gdynia)

This is one of the very famous theaters in Poland. It offers a rich repertoire, aimed at viewers looking for intellectual and aesthetic sublimity, as well as a moment of breath from the tiring reality. The Municipal Theater also includes the Summer Stage in Gdynia-Orłowo, where spectators can watch prepared performances under the open sky, on the beach, among the sound of sea waves.

Gdańsk Shakespeare Theater (Gdańsk)

It is an impresario theatre, without its own acting troupe. The repertoire is based on four main cycles: Polish Theatres, Theaters of Europe (and the World), Summer with Shakespeare and the Music Stage (concerts). It was built in the place where the building of the School of Fencing functioned in the 17th century - the first public theater of the then Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Rich in history, often visited by spectators.

Atelier im. Agnieszka Osiecka (Sopot)

Founded by the German director and actor André Ochodlo in 1989, the theater in Sopot is located right next to the beach. It mainly supports the work of young artists, but not only. Very eagerly visited by audiences of all ages. So far, many recognized artists have performed on the Atelier stage, including: Katarzyna Groniec, Hanna Banaszak, Mirosław Baka, Artur Barciś, Artur Żmijewski and many, many others.

State Baltic Opera (Gdańsk)

It is the largest cultural institution of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Versatile repertoire, operas, operettas, ballet, attracts viewers from all over the world. For 60 years, the Baltic Opera has staged about 300 opera and ballet performances. They have participated in numerous international projects.
