Globaltica 2022 - a festival for the whole family.
Do you know what is the biggest event in the calendar of summer cultural events in the Tri-City? Globaltica! On July 14-16, we invite you to the seaside at the World Cultures Festival! The event takes place in Kolibki Park in Gdynia Orłowo.
As the organizers emphasize, the Globaltica World Cultures Festival was created to bring people together by building understanding of foreign traditions, cultures and customs. Music, on the other hand, is the kind of medium that reaches even the most resistant hearts. That's the whole idea of this holiday. The artists will include representatives of cultures from all continents. This year, the stage will include: the group Damir Imamovic Trio playing "Balkan blues", the band Bab L 'Bluz, a Moroccan-French quartet that will take us into the world of North African music, Cimarrón - a band presenting an unusual mixture of their indigenous roots with historical Andalusian and African influences, with raw ethnic singing, rhythmic dance and instrumental virtuosity, and Kapela Brodów - something for lovers of Polish traditional music.
The main area of the festival's activity is music, but the event also presents works from other fields, such as literature, fine arts, photography and film. In addition to the concerts, there will be a festival town, and in it you will take advantage of the "Mind Power Zone", "Social Town" or "Merchant Town". A special program is also planned to express support for those affected by the tragedy of the war in Ukraine. “GLOBALTICA KIDS” attractions await children, that is: interactive workshops, meetings and theater performances. Participation will allow your children to learn about their creative potential and open them to cultural diversity, while ensuring great fun.
