Tourist Voucher
A tourist voucher is a government form of support for Polish families and the tourism industry in connection with the COVID-19 epidemic. Using the voucher, you can pay for hotel services or tourist events organized in our country. This is a one-time amount of PLN 500 for each child up to 18 years of age and an additional one-time benefit of also PLN 500 for children with a disability certificate. The benefit is paid in the form of an electronic voucher, which can be used to pay for a stay in an apartment, hotel, guesthouse, scout camp or sports camp. What is worth emphasizing, the vouchers are valid until March 31, 2022 and can be used to pay multiple times until the granted amount is fully used.
HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY VOUCHER?To use this form of support, we will have to log in to the ZUS Electronic Services Platform (PUE ZUS). If we have not had an account there so far, the system will ask us to set up a new one - we can do it using a Trusted Signature or our electronic banking. After activating the voucher, we will receive a 16-digit number in an SMS, which we will have to provide when making the reservation or at the latest on the day of accommodation. Our host will check the correctness of the code and the balance of our balance on the same platform, and we will only need to confirm the payment with the code that will come to us in an SMS.
WHO IS ENTITLED TO ADDITIONAL BENEFIT IN THE FORM OF A TOURIST Voucher?We can use the voucher if I have at least one child under 18 years of age. As in the case of the "Rodzina 500 Plus" benefit, there is no income limit per family member. Each child is entitled to PLN 500. Support for children with a disability certificate is greater and amounts to PLN 1,000. To receive them, we must submit a separate application. WHERE CAN I USE IT?The tourist voucher can be redeemed throughout the country. We can pay with it for accommodation in an apartment, hotel, guesthouse or any other form of hotel service. The organizers of package travel also accept this form of payment. We can easily pay for a scout camp, sports camp or a green school for our children.
